Small Groups

Opportunities for small group participation are provided for all age groups throughout the week. Volunteers are always needed to lead activities for all age groups. To volunteer or for information about the current small group offerings, contact the Church Office at (828) 526-3376.

Middle School Girls Discipleship

Meets on Sundays from 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Call the Church Office at (828) 526-3376 for details.

Middle School Boy's Discipleship

Class is forming with Josh Bryson as leader. Call the Church Office at (828) 526-3376 for details.

Senior High Boy's Discipleship

This group meets on Tuesday Nights at 5:30 PM at the church.

Wednesday Classes

Classes follow our Family Night Suppers. There are opportunities for adults, children (preschool, younger elementary, and older elementary), and youth.

Adult

One or more short-term studies are offered throughout the year with an occasional group activity or a special speaker. Registration forms, if required, can be found in the Worship Bulletin or places can be reserved by calling the Church Office at (828) 526-3376.

Children

Preschool will go to the nursery or participate in the church family activity.
Younger Elementary will participate in a special activity.
Older Elementary will participate in the church family activity.

Youth

Youth activities are offered throughout the year with an occasional special speaker. All youth are welcome and no registration is required.

United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men meet on the second Sunday of each month at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast and period of fellowship and spiritual growth. All men of the church are invited to attend. Use this link to view the activities of the United Methodist Men at the Highlands UMC.

United Methodist Women

The Lil Stevens Circle meets the third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 AM - usually in the Church Parlor. All women of the church are invited to attend. Use this link to view the activities of the United Methodist Women at the Highlands UMC.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)

The UMYF meets on Sunday Evenings for a period of praise and worship. After the worship time there are fun activities that lead to the devotion time. Meeting times vary.
